My name is Harry and I love Amazon.
I love the service they provide and they logistical miracles they perform on a daily basis.
But one day in November 2019, I started receiving unwanted and unordered packages. I talked it through with Amazon’s polite customer service representatives and turns out, there is very little anyone can do to stop receiving things you don’t want.
This site is a chronicle of my journey receiving unwanted packages, a practice known as “brushing.” It’s a scam with a primary purpose of leaving “verified purchaser” reviews for products.
I don’t know why I was chosen, but I doubt it’s personal. Scams usually aren’t.
All I know is, my office is getting really full of stuff I don’t want.
What are you going to do with all this stuff?
My plan is to let it collect for a while, and then host a free “yard sale” in the co-working space where my office is. Maybe someone will need a maternity belt.
Are you from Amazon and want to know more?
Do you know how to help?
